The name may seem a bit naughty, but it's actually thought to be the mispronunciation of an Algonquin word, tickennecket, meaning "place of little beavers". The daylily, TICKLENAKED POND, has vibrant 5 " saturated violet rose blooms with a lavender purple watermark. The recurved round blooms are held atop 36" tall scapes with wide 4 way branching. A mid - late bloomer TICKLENAKED POND is a CMO (cold morning opener) ensuring the blooms open perfectly well past those warm summer days. Easily fertile both ways.
