(Rich 2016) Sculpted cristate form, Tet, Dor, Mid, 7 1/2" bloom, 35" tall, 3 - 4 way branching, 15 - 19 buds, CMO & EMO
These extra large 7 1/2" golden yellow blooms have a light pumpkin orange blush and small olive green throat. The cristate petals are wild and unruly. The cristations can be simple midrib or a complicated combination of both midrib and surface cristation edged with tetth. The tall 35" scapes hold the early morning and cool morning opening blooms well above the dormant blue-green foliage. Blooming cristate even after being lined out, BEAST OF BAMBURGH prefers to settle in to show the full effect on 3 and 4 way branching. Pollen is easy to use, pods are a bit more difficult but not impossible.

(Rich 2016) Tet, Sev, Mid - Late, 5 1/2" bloom, 39" tall, 3 and 4 way branching, 15 - 20 buds, EMO and CMO
Triangular blooms in red-purple with a dark blue-purple watermark and large grass green throat. The 39" scapes stand tall and straight with 3 and 4 way branching. Beginning to bloom at the end of the mid season and continuing through the late, these EMO and CMO blooms are perfectly suited to the cooler mornings. The lightly ruffled petal edges are frosted in silvery grey, a hint of the cool change soon to come in our zone 4 garden. Extremely easy to use pollen and pod.

(Rich 2016) Sculpted relief and Polymerous form 75%, Tet, Dor, Early, 6 1/4" bloom, 30" tall, 3 and 4 way branching, 15 - 18 buds, EMO and CMO
Combining the Sculpted and Polymerous forms, FOREST FOR THE SUN takes multiform daylilies in a new direction. The bright golden yellow 6 1/4" polymerous flowers are lightly relief sculpted with a clear rose halo and large yellow to green throat. The dormant foliage is a clean dark green spring until fall and produces large fans. Scapes are 30" tall, sturdy, with 3 and 4 way branching and 15 - 18 buds. FOREST FOR THE SUN is easily fertile both ways.

(Rich 2016) Sculpted pleated form, Tet, Dor, Mid, 7" bloom, 30" tall, wide 4 way branching, 16 - 20 buds, CMO
The large 7" blooms are a rich saturated violet with an unusual satin sheen. The pleated petals with deep blue-lavender watermark and edge lead to a small yellow to green throat. Strong 30" scapes present the blooms without crowding on extremely wide 4 way branching. SPIRIT OF THE ADVENTURE is easily pod and pollen fertile for the adventurous hybridizer.

(Rich 2016) Sculpted relief form, Tet, Sev, Mid, 6 1/2" bloom, 34" tall, 3 - 4 way branching, 14 - 18 buds, EMO and CMO
Dark rose pink serves as the base color for these 6 1/2" blooms. Sculpted ridges rise through a large dark raspberry-rose eye and a bright yellow to green throat. Petals are ruffled and trimmed with a double edge of raspberry and cream. A northern hardy mid season bloomer that is both CMO and EMO. The 34" tall scapes have 3 - 4 way branching with 14 - 18 buds. A personal favorite, TIL THE LOVE RUNS OUT is an exciting parent for Sculpted relief forms and easily fertile both ways.
